1992 Merlin Titanium with some added ti parts and a mix of early '90s stuff. I think the ti stem makes the front end a little too noodly. I previously had a stout Syncros stem that kept things a little more solid when pulling on the bars while out of the saddle. It's a very fun and lively bike to ride, not to mention it climbs very nicely.

The shifters are probably my favorite shifters ever. Only available in '94, the last year of Suntour as we knew it and their final attempt to compete with Rapid-Fire. Our team bikes had these and I loved them. I think if this shifter had come out a few years earlier it would have been a hit. They work almost flawlessly with an 8 speed XTR cassette.
